how to make alcohol at home

By

making booze at home is easier than you think

Believe it or not, as a kid I wasn't your typical "lets get drunk everyone!". In fact, now that I remember, I was a 'cheap drunk' up to college. Damn those years fly by eh. Good :)

Anyways, after college I wasn't really making any real money - if you ask me college was a total waste of my time. So to make extra money, I came across some wine making kits that I started dropshipping on auction sites. Now when it started making me money, naturally I was interested in how this whole home wine making thing works!

After I made my first batch, I was hooked! I guess you can say thats where the madness 'began!'. I soon started reading books on how to make alcohol at home and the more I read, the more I got sucked into it.

I finally realized how easy it is to make alcohol at home. Let me explain the process. When yeast is combined with sugar, it creates alcohol an the gas known as carbon di oxide. When you mix juice, sugar and yeast all together (Grape juice for wine or Apple juice for apple cider) than you get alcoholic beverages. This process is also known as fermentation.

Ofcourse the process is a little bit more than what meets the eye, but that is what it is in a nutshell. Making alcohol at home is great, but make sure you never try to sell it. That is the only thing that can make it illegal and eventually land you behind the bars. As selling alcohol is prohibited without a license.

Plus as long as you are making ciders, wine, coolers and beer etc you are fine as far as the law is concerened. I guess as long as you are not using any distillation equipment (Used for vodka et), you can make as much booze as you want for yourself and your friends.

My grandma used to make fruit preserves (for fruit cake, typical huh?) She would put a bunch of fruit in a big glass jar and leave it until she needed it. And I recently realized it selled like some hardcore sangria. All it takes is fruit, sugar, time, and a strainer
